Mitigation Technician

Join a leading restoration team responding to fire, water, and mold emergencies across the Greater Duluth area. As a Mitigation Technician, you will play a crucial role in addressing emergency property damage situations.

Responsibilities

• Respond to emergency property damage calls including water, fire, smoke, and mold.
• Perform water extraction, structural drying, and site cleanup.
• Assist with demolition, removing fixtures, and securing structures.
• Document job progress using photos, notes, and digital tools.
• Maintain company vehicles, tools, and safety equipment.
• Participate in rotating on-call schedule including nights and weekends.

Essential Skills

• Experience in general labor and construction.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting.
• Proficiency in restoration and property photography.
• Basic tech skills including smartphone, apps, and documentation tools.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Ability to lift 75+ lbs and work in confined spaces.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
• Strong work ethic, professionalism, and desire to grow.
• Bilingual capabilities are a plus.
• Willingness to travel for out-of-state work such as floods and hurricanes.

Work Environment

The work schedule is Monday to Friday, starting at 7:45 am until the job is completed, typically ending around 4:30 PM to 5 PM back at the shop.

This is a Permanent position based out of Superior, WI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
