Mitigation Technician
Join a leading restoration team responding to fire, water, and mold emergencies across the Greater Duluth area. As a Mitigation Technician, you will play a crucial role in addressing emergency property damage situations.
Responsibilities
- Respond to emergency property damage calls including water, fire, smoke, and mold.
- Perform water extraction, structural drying, and site cleanup.
- Assist with demolition, removing fixtures, and securing structures.
- Document job progress using photos, notes, and digital tools.
- Maintain company vehicles, tools, and safety equipment.
- Participate in rotating on-call schedule including nights and weekends.
Essential Skills
- Experience in general labor and construction.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting.
- Proficiency in restoration and property photography.
- Basic tech skills including smartphone, apps, and documentation tools.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Ability to lift 75+ lbs and work in confined spaces.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
- Strong work ethic, professionalism, and desire to grow.
- Bilingual capabilities are a plus.
- Willingness to travel for out-of-state work such as floods and hurricanes.

Work Environment
The work schedule is Monday to Friday, starting at 7:45 am until the job is completed, typically ending around 4:30 PM to 5 PM back at the shop.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
