Title: Construction Specialist
Job Type: 6 month contract to permanent placement
PR: $38/hr-$40/hr
Locations: Tampa Bay, FL or Fort Myers, FL
Schedule: Monday - Friday 7am - 4pm
Job Summary
Insight Global is seeking a construction specialist in Florida to assist with and oversee the entirety of construction phases for a large industrial and government project and on location in South Florida. We are seeking a temp-to-hire consultant with a conversion salary of around $75,000-90,000 depending on the level of experience and performance. Daily responsibilities will include: · Pre-bid & planning phase · Execution Phase · Close-out Phase Additional responsibilities will include: · Assisting VDC and BIM planning · Performing estimating tasks, quantity take-offs, and cost analysis for future projects. Participate in bid-day quote tabulations and job walks
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of construction management/construction project engineering experience in managing entirety of construction phases (planning, execution, close-out).
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, Engineering, or related.
- Familiarity with RFIs, submittals, and project documentation.
- Experience with Water/Wastewater project management for new build, expansion, and rehab.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Virtual Design Construction (VDC) and/or Building Intelligence Modeling (BIM) experience.
- Advanced scheduling, cost analysis, and risk management
