Construction Security Monitor with TS/SCI ClearanceJoin IDS International's National Security Services team supporting secure & mission-critical environments. The Construction Security Monitor supports construction security operations by controlling access to the site, monitoring construction personnel and activities, and ensuring compliance with established security procedures. This role requires continuous observation of construction processes, documentation of daily activities, and reporting of security incidents and anomalies.
The Security Monitor operates within an active construction environment and is responsible for maintaining security awareness and enforcing site procedures.Key ResponsibilitiesControl access to the construction siteScreen and escort personnel, materials, and tools entering or leaving the siteMonitor and observe construction workers during assigned tasksMaintain control of construction materials within or moving to/from the siteProduce daily logs of all activities and eventsReport all security-related incidents to the SSMReport anomalies and counterintelligence-related incidents immediately and without delayRequired QualificationsClearance: Active Top Secret / Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance with Counterintelligence Polygraph (CI-Poly) requiredCitizenship: U.S. CitizenEducation: High school diploma or GED equivalentRequired Experience:Strong verbal communication skillsStrong report writing skills with attention to detailExcellent customer service and interpersonal skillsAbility to interpret documents and accurately apply rules and proceduresPhysical Requirements:Must be able to sit, stand, walk, bend, and move throughout secure facilities for extended periods of timePosition may require occasional lifting and/or movement of moderate amounts of weight, depending on assignment requirementsPreferred QualificationsThree (3) or more years of similar experienceHigh level of accountabilityWork Schedule & ConditionsSchedule: Monday–Friday, 0600–1430Hours: Guaranteed 40 hours per week *Overtime may be available or required.
