Construction Quality Assurance Representative (QAR)ProSidian seeks a Construction Quality Assurance Representative (QAR) for program support on a contract basis working on-site at Whiteman AFB, Missouri, across the Midwest Region supporting USACE Kansas City District needs on-site QAR to assure B-21 beddown construction quality.Provide services and support as a Construction Quality Assurance Representative (QAR) in the Defense, and Security Industry Sector focusing on engineering solutions for clients such as U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE). This is a contract contingent or contract W-2 (IRS-1099) Construction Engineering Management Services Functional Area/Swim Lane/Category Discipline Professional - Construction Management Services (CMS) – Quality Assurance Representative (QAR) Support (Whiteman AFB) position; however, ProSidian reserves the right to convert to a full-time ProSidian employed W-2 position.Responsibilities and duties include:Construction Management/Quality Assurance/On-site Construction Oversight ensuring contractor-performed work meets USACE standards, contract requirements, and mission readiness objectives.Qualifications:5–10+ years of construction inspection or QA experience on Federal or DoD construction projects.Demonstrated experience supporting USACE or NAVFAC construction projects.Working knowledge of USACE QA/QC processes, RMS/QCS systems, and EM 385-1-1 safety requirements.Experience interpreting construction drawings, specifications, and submittals.Minimum construction experience of 5 years.Plan and specification interpretation expertise.Knowledge of construction (means methods and techniques) and contract administration.Knowledge in Building Codes and StandardsStrong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams, including military personnel, civilian engineers, and construction contractors.Ability to pass security background check via fingerprint investigation and pass access request thru Trusted Associate Sponsorship System (TASS)American citizenship with a valid Real-ID state-issued driver's license.Education/Experience Requirements/Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or related field preferred.OR equivalent combination of education and progressively responsible construction QA experience.Relevant certifications (e.g., CQM for Contractors, ICC, OSHA 30) highly desirable.Skills required:Construction inspection and quality assuranceTechnical plan and specification reviewDocumentation and report writingRMS/QCS data entry and recordkeepingConstruction safety awareness (EM 385-1-1)Competencies required:Attention to detailProfessional judgment and integrityOral and written communicationProblem identification and resolutionCollaboration with Government and contractor teamsAncillary details of the roles:Supports mission-critical infrastructure for Air Force Global Strike Command.Coordinates with base civil engineering and security forces as required.May require periodic travel to regional contractor facilities or off-site testing locations.Other details:Primarily on-site at Whiteman AFB.Exposure to active construction environments.Use of USACE systems of record (RMS).Must comply with base access, badging, and security requirements.
