Construction Project Manager

NOW HIRING: ESTIMATOR / PROJECT MANAGER / GC

Thruway Builders is looking for an experienced, highly organized Estimator / Project Manager to join our team.

We are seeking a construction professional who can manage projects from initial estimate through completion, while maintaining strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare accurate and competitive construction estimates and bids

Review plans, specifications, scopes of work, and bid documents

Develop project budgets, schedules, and procurement plans

Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, materials, and project logistics

Manage projects from pre-construction through closeout

Track project costs, change orders, schedules, and profitability

Conduct site visits and monitor project progress

Communicate effectively with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and management

Identify project risks and develop solutions before they impact schedule or budget

Maintain project documentation and ensure contractual requirements are met

Help ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards

Ideal Candidate

Proven experience in construction estimating and project management

Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, labor, and subcontractor pricing

Ability to read and interpret architectural and construction drawings

Strong organizational and time-management skills

Excellent written and verbal communication

Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities

Proficiency with construction estimating/project-management software

Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously

Detail-oriented with a strong understanding of project profitability
