Project Manager – Municipal InfrastructureLocation: Richmond, CACompensation: $125,000 - $165,000 USDOverviewWe are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead municipal infrastructure projects in the Greater Los Angeles area. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil construction, excellent leadership and communication skills, and a proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and diverse teams. This role offers the opportunity to work on impactful public works projects with a focus on safety, quality, and long-term sustainability.Must Haves5+ years of construction project management experience for a General ContractorBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil, Mechanical, Environmental Engineering, or related fieldExperience in water/wastewater infrastructure and process mechanical systemsExperience leading multi-disciplinary teams on active job sitesSolid knowledge of civil infrastructure: earthwork, structural concrete, underground utilities, mechanical systemsProven ability to manage contracts, subcontracts, purchase orders, and project budgetsSkilled in schedule development, cost control, and manpower planningStrong communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skillsDemonstrated commitment to safety compliance and job site best practicesComfortable supervising and mentoring engineers and field staffNice to HavesFamiliarity with sustainability practices (QSP, SWPPP, LEED)Proficiency with tools like Procore, Bluebeam, AutoCAD, Primavera, etc.Background in preconstruction, client proposals, or business developmentResponsibilitiesOversee and execute all phases of municipal infrastructure projects from preconstruction through close-outSet the strategic tone for projects, ensuring alignment with scope, budget, and scheduleLead project planning, scheduling, and procurement activities in collaboration with superintendents and trade partnersManage job-specific buyouts and submittals in coordination with estimating and executive teamsMonitor and control project budgets, change orders, and financial forecastingImplement safety, quality control, and environmental programs with site leadershipConduct regular site visits and meetings to ensure progress, safety, and quality standards are metFoster positive working relationships with clients, consultants, and agency stakeholdersCoordinate internal teams, including Project Engineers, Field Engineers, and AccountantsEnsure strict compliance with contractual obligations and notice provisionsReport progress and key metrics to the Project ExecutiveRepresent the company's values with professionalism, reliability, and a can-do attitude
