Project Manager Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Traveling Construction Project Manager to oversee large-scale automotive manufacturing and industrial construction projects throughout the United States.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day field operations on automotive manufacturing facilities, production plants, and industrial construction projects.
• Coordinate subcontractors, trade partners, vendors, and field personnel to maintain project schedules and productivity.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, owners, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project execution.
• Monitor construction progress, identify potential delays, and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Enforce site safety requirements, quality control procedures, and construction standards.
• Coordinate installation and integration of building systems, equipment foundations, structural components, and production-related infrastructure.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of construction Project Manager experience.
• Experience with automotive manufacturing, industrial facilities, manufacturing plants, or other large-scale industrial construction projects preferred.
• Strong knowledge of construction sequencing, subcontractor coordination, scheduling, and site safety.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and project schedules.
• Proven leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple trades and coordinate complex construction activities in an active industrial environment.
• Proficiency with construction project management and scheduling tools preferred.

Travel Requirements

This is a 100% national travel position, supporting automotive manufacturing and industrial construction projects throughout the United States. Candidates must be comfortable with extended travel and remaining on-site for the duration of assigned projects.
