Salary Range: $85,000.00 To $120,000.00 Annually

All Temp Refrigeration is seeking an experienced Commercial Mechanical HVAC Project Manager to lead commercial installation and construction projects across Greater New Orleans, the Northshore, and Baton Rouge.

We need someone who understands commercial HVAC construction, keeps projects moving, and takes ownership of budgets, schedules, and results. You’ll work closely with our field crews, office team, general contractors, customers, and vendors from project handoff through closeout.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple commercial HVAC projects from preconstruction through final completion.
• Review plans, specifications, contracts, and estimates to understand scope and identify gaps before work begins.
• Build and manage project budgets, schedules, manpower plans, and equipment deliveries.
• Coordinate with field supervisors to keep crews productive and resolve jobsite challenges.
• Manage equipment and material purchasing, subcontractors, and vendor coordination.
• Prepare and track submittals, RFIs, change orders, and project documentation.
• Monitor labor, material, and subcontractor costs; identify overruns early and take corrective action.
• Attend project meetings and maintain clear communication with general contractors, owners, and internal teams.
• Coordinate progress billing with accounting and document changes promptly so completed work gets billed.
• Ensure work meets project specifications, applicable codes, quality standards, and safety requirements.
• Manage inspections, startup, testing and balancing coordination, punch lists, warranties, and closeout documents.

Qualifications

• At least five years of commercial HVAC or mechanical construction project management experience.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects with accountability for cost, schedule, and quality.
• Strong understanding of commercial HVAC equipment, ductwork, mechanical piping, and installation practices.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
• Experience managing purchasing, change orders, job costing, and subcontractors.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction project management software; Trimble Vista/Viewpoint experience is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to jobsites throughout our service area.
• Field leadership experience is a plus.
