Title: Construction Project Manager

Location: Louisville, Kentucky

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (Regular Business Hours)

Pay Rate: $40-47/hr DOE

Duration: 6 month contract to permanent hire

• W2 contract
• Eligible for benefits on contract
• Paid x1.5 for OT

Must Haves:

• 2+ years of experience as a Project Manager or Assistant Project Manager within commercial construction
• Ability to read and comprehend construction blueprints and project drawings
• Desire to grow and develop within a construction organization long-term
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Coachable mindset with the ability to take direction and apply feedback
• Valid Driver's license and reliable transportation

Plusses:

• Commercial construction experience
• Experience using Microsoft Project

Responsibilities:

• Support the management of K-12 construction projects throughout the Louisville area
• Assist with project scheduling, coordination, and documentation
• Review project plans, specifications, and blueprints to ensure project requirements are understood
• Track project milestones, budgets, and timelines
• Work closely with senior Project Managers and company leadership to learn project management best practices
• Support project meetings, reporting, and project administration activities
• Ensure projects are progressing according to schedule and client expectations

Overview:

Insight Global is seeking a Construction Project Manager to join our construction client in Louisville, KY. The client is looking for a motivated, coachable candidate who wants to grow and build a long-term career within the company. This individual will support K-12 school construction projects throughout the Louisville area while learning directly from experienced Project Managers and company leadership. During the contract period, all projects will remain local to Louisville, providing an opportunity to develop project management skills without extensive travel.

The role will spend approximately 60% of their time in the office collaborating with other Project Managers and the company President. As the candidate grows within the organization, they will have the opportunity to take on additional responsibilities and larger projects. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, understand construction blueprints, and is looking for a company where they can grow professionally.
