Construction Project Manager
Location: Liberty, NC (Onsite)
Job Type: Contract
Our client is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead and deliver ground-up and capital construction projects ranging from $2M to $30M+. The ideal candidate will oversee projects from initial planning and design development through construction, commissioning, and closeout while ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all phases of construction projects, including feasibility studies, design development, bidding, procurement, construction, and project closeout.
- Coordinate and lead project teams consisting of engineers, architects, contractors, consultants, and safety personnel.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, forecasts, and progress reports.
- Review shop drawings, submittals, contracts, and change orders to ensure quality and compliance.
- Monitor construction activities to ensure adherence to safety standards, project specifications, and quality requirements.
- Communicate project status, risks, and key milestones to stakeholders and leadership.
- Manage multiple concurrent projects while maintaining strong focus on schedule, cost, safety, and quality.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of construction project management experience, including ground-up and capital projects valued from $2M to $30M+.
- Strong experience with design development, procurement, bidding, budgeting, scheduling, and construction administration.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Procore, Excel, and Bluebeam.
- Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams, contractors, and external stakeholders.
- Experience delivering industrial, warehouse, manufacturing, automotive, office, or similar facility construction projects.
- Excellent communication, leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- PMP Certification.
- OSHA Certification.
- Experience supporting manufacturing or automotive facility construction projects.
