Chapter is a builder-led design-build firm specializing in high-end residential renovations. We operate across New York, New Jersey, Westchester, Connecticut, and Miami, delivering a seamless experience from design through construction. We are looking for a Construction Project Management Intern to join our NYC team. This is a hands-on opportunity for someone who wants real exposure to the day-to-day operations of high-end residential construction and project management. This is a full-time, on-site position (9 AM – 6 PM) and requires a 6-month commitment. Candidates must have a background in construction, whether through education, prior experience, or both.
Internship Compensation $This internship is designed as a long-term growth path within the company, with the intention of transitioning into an Assistant Project Manager role and eventually a Project Manager position.
Assist in managing residential renovation projects from start to finish Support proposal preparation, drawings, material takeoffs, and cost estimates Conduct daily site visits across multiple active projects Assist with client communication throughout project phases Support file management, RFIs, submittals, and change orders Help coordinate procurement and track materials and samples Maintain vendor databases and pricing logs Participate in daily and weekly project management meetings Work closely with construction, design, and operations teams
Exposure to high-end residential renovation projects throughout NYC area Hands-on experience across multiple areas of construction management Direct collaboration with experienced professionals across construction and design disciplines A structured path toward long-term growth within the company
Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field Strong interest in construction and project management Background in construction through education, internships, or hands-on experience Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite Familiarity with AutoCAD or Revit is a plus Wants real exposure to the construction industry beyond the classroom Enjoys fast-moving environments and on-site coordination Wants a long-term growth path within a high-performance design-build firm Is excited to build a career in construction project management
