Insight Global is looking to hire a Project Manager in Elkridge, MD. This individual will manage customer projects involving architectural doors, frames, hardware, aluminum storefront, specialty products, and security-related scopes across Division 8, Division 10, and Division 28. Responsibilities include developing and tracking project schedules, managing scope and budget changes, coordinating with customers, internal teams, vendors, and third parties, and maintaining project documentation. The Project Manager will also attend jobsite meetings, perform site inspections, monitor quality and safety requirements, resolve project issues, and oversee projects through completion and closeout. This position will split time between an office/warehouse environment and project sites as needed.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- 2-3 years of project management experience in commercial construction
- Experience with Division 8, Division 10, aluminum storefront, or architectural building products
- Experience managing project schedules, budgets, documentation, and closeout
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to travel to project sites as needed
NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Associate’s degree or higher
- Experience with Division 28/security integration projects
- Experience managing subcontractors, vendors, or material suppliers
- Experience reading construction drawings, specifications, or project plans
