A privately held commercial real estate ownership and management company is seeking a Project Manager to oversee capital projects and tenant improvement work across a diverse portfolio of commercial properties throughout the Chicagoland area.

Responsibilities:
- Manage multiple construction, renovation, and capital projects simultaneously across commercial properties
- Oversee tenant improvement projects, space remodels, building upgrades, roofing projects, compliance-related improvements, and property enhancements
- Coordinate architects, engineers, contractors, vendors, and municipality officials
- Review plans, drawings, budgets, schedules, and project documentation
- Track project timelines, budgets, change orders, and contractor performance
- Obtain bids, negotiate pricing, and support vendor selection processes
- Assist with permitting, inspections, and code compliance requirements
- Conduct site visits and monitor construction progress throughout project lifecycles
- Partner with leasing, property management, and operations teams to support tenant build-outs and occupancy initiatives
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and value engineering solutions
- Provide regular project updates to leadership
Requirements:
- 3+ years of project management, construction management, architecture, development, or owner's representative experience xzgxqkn
- Experience managing commercial office construction / development projects
- Strong understanding of commercial construction processes, budgeting, permitting, and scheduling
- Ability to coordinate vendors, contractors, and consultants
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project tracking software
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Construction Management, Engineering, Real Estate Development, or a related field
- Experience with commercial office, retail, industrial, or mixed-use projects
- Familiarity with Chicagoland building codes and permitting processes
