Project EstimatorSuperior and our tri-venture, CST, is looking for an Estimator who will be responsible for interpreting drawings, reading specifications, change order pricing, and doing takeoff on certain items. This role operates primarily in the field and requires close coordination with project management, field supervision, subcontractors, and clients to ensure all scope changes and impacts are captured, documented, and aligned with project goals. This role is based on a jobsite in Port Washington, Wisconsin.ResponsibilitiesRead and understand contract drawings and project specificationsReview RFIs, bulletins, and field directives to identify scope changesPerform quantity takeoffs based on updated drawings and field conditionsDevelop scopes of work for change orders, including labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor requirementsSupport change order pricing using labor units, historical data, and field-verified productivityCoordinate with field teams to validate installation methods and production ratesTrack and document change events from identification through resolutionMaintain an up-to-date change order log, including pending, approved, and disputed itemsPrepare clear and organized cost backup for change order submissionsAssist in identifying schedule impacts related to scope changesSupport time-and-material (T&M) tracking, including field tickets and installed quantitiesCollaborate with project management and Tri-Venture partners to ensure alignmentYour Character TraitsYou’re organized, great at prioritization, and have a strong attention to detailYou’re a team player and collaborate well across field and office teamsYou have an analytical mindset and understand how to problem solveYou can consistently meet tight deadlines, the willingness to learn new processes, and adapt to changing project conditionsYou’re able to exercise confidentiality and discretion when dealing with sensitive informationYour ExpertiseRequired: You have proven experience as an Electrical Estimator in construction, contracting, or a related fieldRequired: You have strong knowledge of electrical systems, installations methods, and industry standardsRequired: You are proficient in estimating software (e.g., Accubid, Trimble, Bluebeam, or similar)Bonus Points: You have earned an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or a related fieldOur BenefitsHealth Insurance: We pay 100% of the insurance premium to cover you, your spouse, and eligible childrenDental Plan: We pay 100% of the insurance premium to cover you, your spouse, and eligible childrenLong Term Disability, Short Term Disability, and Life Insurance: We pay 100% of the insurance premium to cover youVacation/PTO: You receive a minimum of three weeks of PTO per yearHealth Savings Account: We contribute at least $750 to your HSA each yearMaternity and Parental Leave: New parents receive paid time offAbout The Superior Group (Superior)Superior is a national leader in electrical design and construction and among the largest electrical contractors in the U.S.
