Project Engineer IIThe Best Teams are Created and Maintained Here.Job SummaryThe Project Engineer II supports the project management team in executing large-scale commercial landscape construction projects. This role works closely with the Project Manager to assist with planning, coordination, and oversight, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope.Duties and Responsibilities:Work with the construction team to ensure that all construction services are delivered according to contract specifications, on budget, according to schedule, and with a high standard of qualityPerform takeoffs using Onscreen Take-off (OST) and gather pricing for estimatesReview take-offs with the estimating teamManage document control, including submittals, change orders, field production tracking, purchasing documentation, and contract administrationPrepare reports and information as requestedCoordinate between the branch administrative team, field employees, sales team, estimating team, and branch management regularlyWork closely with clients, vendors, subcontractors, and employees; ensure exceptional customer service and quality at all timesEducation and Experience:B.A degree in Landscape Architecture, civil engineering, or Construction Management, or equivalent work experienceProficient with computer software programs, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) and project management softwareStrong work ethicEffective oral and written communication skillsAbility to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environmentCustomer service experienceBilingual (Spanish)Physical Demands/Requirements:Constant operation of a computer and other office equipment, such as a laptop, a cell phone, and printers/copiersPosition is sedentary; must be able to remain in a stationary position for a majority of the timeOperates in an office environment and requires in-person presenceAbility to maintain, in your possession at all times, required medications to address any known allergic reactions should they occurWork Environment:Work is conducted in a professional office environment, with a collaborative and dynamic team setting, and requires in-person presenceBrightView Landscapes, LLC is an Equal Opportunity and E-Verify Employer.
