HDR is providing PM/CM services for the Los Angeles World Airports ATMP Landside Improvements Project. The project will deliver critical improvements to the roadways, streets, and thoroughfares in and around the Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) campus. HDR will assist with the management of projects throughout the design, preconstruction, and construction phases, from inception to closeout.

HDR is proud to lead a strong team of world-class professionals to sculpt this project that is a key part of the infrastructure transformation ahead of the 2028 Olympics and will serve millions of travelers and Angelenos for decades to come.In the role of Construction Project Engineer, we'll count on you to:Construction Administration & Contract ComplianceDocument Control, Reporting & Pay ApplicationsMeeting Support & Project CoordinationSchedule Awareness & Look-Ahead ReviewClaims & Dispute SupportGeneral SupportPreferred Qualifications:Experience with Caltrans and/or City of Los Angeles projects.Familiarity with Progressive Design-Build, Design-Build, and/or CMGC delivery methods.Professional Engineer (PE) license or Certified Construction Manager (CCM) certificationAbility to interpret construction schedulesAbility to problem solve and provide possible solutions to the engineerRequired Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Technology, or combination of education and relevant experienceA minimum of 5 years progressive construction experience on multidisciplinary projectsFundamental understanding of contracts and familiarity with codes and laws governing constructionAbility to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications and identify discrepancies or conflicts within documentsAbility to work in a team environmentComputer literate, experience with Microsoft Office, Primavera, or related construction packagesExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAn attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a mustHDR is committed to the principles of employment equity.
