This position will enable production teams to operate equipment and machinery required to complete the company's mission.This will be a full-time, exempt position located in our Long Beach location.Responsibilities:Assist in all aspects of project implementation as neededCreate and take part in meetings and presentations with executive leadershipObtain multiple bids from competing contractors by creating scopes of workPerform job walk-downs with vendors, engineers, supervisors, and managersWork with the purchasing department to ensure vendors are approved, vetted and insuredReview plans and other technical documentsAnswer questions regarding the scope and/or timing of the projectMonitor costs and project progressMaintain control of all project documentationCreate, manage and track RFI's from the field to the architect/engineer of recordMinimum Qualifications:Bachelor's DegreeAbility to read and comprehend plans and specificationsPreferred Skills & Experience:Bachelor's of Science Degree in any engineering disciplineExperience with facilities within an aerospace industryFamiliar with space planning procedures and operationsKnowledge of computer applications and the ability to easily navigate through different computer software programsAbility to work effectively in a team environmentAbility to make independent judgments with limited informationCommunication skills for relaying data (verbally and in-writing) between other employees, vendors, and customersLogical and strategic approach to solving problemsComfortable working in a high-stress environment balancing several projects at any given time, and the flexibility to adjust for abrupt changes in strategic directionAdditional Requirements:Willingness to work overtime, or weekends to support critical mission milestonesAbility to lift up to 25lbs unassistedPay Range: California $104,960 - $170,846 USDBase salary will vary depending on job-related knowledge, education, skills, experience, business needs, and market demand.
