Construction Project Engineer in Water and Wastewater

Construction Project EngineerSovereign Consulting Inc., an established mid-size environmental consulting/ General Contracting firm, is seeking a full-time Construction Project Engineer with 2-3 years of experience in the Water and Wastewater Industry for the Robbinsville or Mine Hill, NJ office location. This entry level position will be focused on assisting the Project Manager and Superintendent to complete water and wastewater infrastructure projects located within New Jersey. This position will primarily involve construction management tasks; however, we are seeking someone with a more technical/ engineering-based background as this will be beneficial to overseeing projects effectively, training and supervision will be provided until the candidate is proficient in their daily tasks.

Professional Engineers are on staff and promote continuing education, including obtaining of professional licenses with cost reimbursement programs.Responsibilities:Communicate with engineers, utility owners and field crewsReview construction specifications and drawingsAbility to travel to the site and participate in meetings, coordination of subcontractors, material procurement with superintendentsProcure, review and organize shop drawings of materials and equipmentParticipate in quality control inspections and reviewScheduling inspections and updating the project scheduleStrong problem-solving skillsAdhere to Sovereign Consulting Inc.
