Position: Project Coordinator Jr

Location: Charlotte, NC (Onsite)

Duration: Long-term Contract

Direct Client Need

Job Summary:

• The Project Coordinator will drive the optimization and efficiency of our buried service wire (BSW) functions.
• In this role, you will act as a primary advocate and collaborator for 1 to 4 buried service wire (BSW) contractors, overseeing buried drop tickets across multiple states.
• You will work in close alignment with contractors and field personnel to achieve a significant increase in buried service wire installations and regional growth.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for customer BSW escalations, resolving critical path barriers swiftly.
• Conduct regular alignment meetings with drop vendors to drive and improve the percentage of drops placed before their due dates.
• Proactively coordinate activities, track deployment progress, follow through on operational bottlenecks, and escalate unresolved issues when necessary.
• Manage multiple permits and moving operational priorities simultaneously with strict attention to detail.
• Identify potential field barriers early and implement structured processes to ensure successful, on-time program delivery.

• Proven ability to apply expert functional and critical thinking skills to resolve complex business and field challenges.
• Highly organized mindset with the ability to prioritize and accomplish a broad range of initiatives under high-pressure timeframes.
• Excellent knowledge of Excel is a strict requirement for tracking progress and managing data.
• A deeply customer-centric mindset dedicated to improving service delivery.
• Preferred Experience (Bonus Points):
• 2–4 years of experience in telecom, construction, engineering, permitting, or project coordination.
• Knowledge of fiber network builds, aerial/underground construction, or utility application systems.
• Experience managing external vendors or holding partners accountable to strict deadlines.
• Familiarity with IQGeo, GIS systems, or related mapping software. xhqgsiq
• Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical work experience in a related field.
