Construction Materials Testing Department Manager

Overview

An outstanding, full-time opening has become available in the northern Houston, TX area for a local individual with 5+ years’ experience as a registered Professional Engineer (PE) with a background in Construction Materials Testing and Management . This position would earn a base salary and a loaded benefits package including medical benefits, a 401K w/ matching, Life insurance, PTO and other outstanding perks.

Qualifications

All candidates MUST have the following experiences to qualify for consideration:

• 5+ years of Construction Materials Testing Management experience with a focus on Soils, Concrete, Asphalt, and Steel Testing .
• Experience with proposal writing, reviewing and signing CME reports, reviewing laboratory test and data is a MUST .
• Experience with Geotechnical and Environmental reports (Phase I and Phase II) CME reports, etc. is a MUST .
• Experience tracking various project/investigation reports, conducting site visits and supervising laboratory activities is a MUST .
• Experience communicating with clients, drillers, and managing laboratory/testing staff is a MUST .
• Registered Professional Engineer (P.E.) in the state of Texas is a MUST .
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil Engineering is a MUST .
• Experience with A2LA is a PLUS .
