Entry-Level Construction Materials Testing TechnicianBraun Intertec is seeking an Entry-Level Construction Materials Testing Technician to join our Amarillo, Texas office. As a technician, you will learn to perform a variety of testing on construction materials such as soils, concrete, masonry, and asphalt. Onsite materials testing is conducted on various commercial and transportation construction projects.The chosen candidate(s) will receive in-depth technical training and industry certifications upon successful completion of examinations and demonstration of ability.

Candidates should be comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions and be able to lift 50-75+ pounds.Responsibilities:Perform field density tests of soilsPerform field concrete testing, including slump, air content, and strengthPrepare daily reportsWork with project managers and senior technicians or staff to ensure specifications are followedPerform routine sampling and testing of soils, aggregates, concrete, masonry, and asphalt and assist with more complex tasks, as requiredIdeal Candidate Will Have:A strong safety focus and attention to detailA demonstrated ability to learn and apply technical conceptsFlexibility to work extended or nontraditional hours as neededExcellent verbal and written communication skillsRelated work experience in materials testing or construction is a plusEducation High School diploma or equivalent preferred, Vocational degree preferredExperience and/or Training Related work experience in materials testing or construction helpfulLicenses/Certificates Valid drivers' license, ACI Field Level I and Radiation certification within 6 months of hireTechnology/Equipment Microsoft Office experience or ability to learnCompensation Range: $39,600.00 - $59,400.00
