Construction Manager

• Manage and oversee civil construction projects from commencement through completion.
• Provide construction management and inspection services.
• Conduct regular job-site inspections and document construction progress.
• Confirm completed work conforms to approved construction plans, specifications and applicable standards.
• Coordinate with contractors, developers, owners, engineers and government agencies.
• Review contractor schedules, progress and project documentation.
• Identify construction issues and coordinate appropriate resolutions.
• Review and manage change orders.
• Review contractor pay applications and project quantities for accuracy.
• Monitor project costs, schedules and overall progress.
• Attend construction meetings and communicate project status.
• Prepare field reports, inspection documentation and other project records.
• Help resolve field/design conflicts and coordinate with the engineering/design team.
• Ensure construction activities comply with applicable local, state and project requirements.
• Assist with project closeout and final acceptance.

Experience

• Construction management experience on civil/site-development/infrastructure projects .
• Experience with construction inspection and contractor coordination.
• Experience reviewing plans, specifications and construction documents.
• Experience with change orders, pay applications and project documentation.
• Experience working with municipalities, developers and contractors is valuable.

Education
