LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a growing and well-respected law firm seeking an experienced Litigation Legal Assistant with a background in construction defect, construction litigation, or insurance defense matters. This is an excellent opportunity for a legal professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys supporting attorneys through all phases of complex litigation.

Responsibilities

• Support attorneys handling construction defect and complex litigation matters
• Draft, revise, and file pleadings, motions, discovery, notices, and correspondence
• Coordinate Florida state and federal court e-filings
• Manage attorney calendars, deadlines, hearings, depositions, mediations, and client meetings
• Organize and maintain case files and litigation documents
• Assist with discovery, document production, and case management
• Prepare exhibits, trial binders, and materials for hearings, mediations, and trial
• Communicate with clients, experts, opposing counsel, and court personnel
• Enter attorney time and assist with billing functions as needed

Qualifications

• 3+ years of litigation legal assistant experience
• Experience supporting construction defect, construction litigation, or insurance defense matters preferred
• Strong knowledge of Florida state and federal court procedures and e-filing requirements
• Excellent document preparation, proofreading, and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a busy litigation practice
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal case management systems
• Strong communication and client service skills
