This opportunity offers hands-on exposure to sophisticated disputes and direct client engagement within a collaborative, high-performance legal team.The ideal candidate will bring strong litigation fundamentals, strategic thinking, and a genuine interest in construction-related matters, including contract disputes, defect claims, and risk mitigation strategies within the building and development sectors.Key ResponsibilitiesHandle all phases of commercial and construction-related litigation, including pleadings, discovery, depositions, motion practice, mediation, arbitration, and trial preparationRepresent owners, developers, contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and design professionals in complex disputesAnalyze and litigate construction defect claims, breach of contract matters, lien and bond claims, and delay-related disputesDraft and review construction contracts and related agreements to mitigate risk and support client objectivesConduct thorough legal research and prepare persuasive briefs and memorandaCollaborate with senior attorneys on case strategy and client advisementMaintain proactive communication with clients and deliver practical, business-minded legal guidanceQualificationsJuris Doctor from an accredited law schoolActive membership in good standing with the Florida Bar2 to 7 years of litigation experience, with exposure to construction law or complex commercial disputes preferredStrong analytical, research, writing, and oral advocacy skillsAbility to manage multiple matters efficiently in a fast-paced environmentProfessional maturity, sound judgment, and commitment to client serviceWhat Sets This Role ApartThis position offers meaningful courtroom exposure, direct client interaction, and the opportunity to build deep expertise in construction litigation within a respected boutique environment.
