Responsibilities:
- Handle a robust motions practice and prepare for hearings and courtroom proceedings
- Assist with complex construction litigation and dispute resolution
- Manage construction-related claims and assist with case strategy
- Draft and negotiate construction and commercial contracts
- Work closely with senior attorneys on sophisticated matters
- Build relationships within the construction and legal communities through professional and industry organizations
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of legal experience , preferably in construction law, commercial litigation, or a related area
- Active North Carolina xzgxqkn Bar license required ; South Carolina or Virginia admission is a plus
- Experience with motions practice, pretrial hearings, or courtroom advocacy
- Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
- Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Prior experience representing construction industry clients is a plus
