Construction Litigation Associate Attorney

Responsibilities

• A well-established California litigation firm is seeking an experienced Construction Litigation Associate Attorney to join its growing Construction Defense practice.
• This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney who enjoys handling sophisticated construction disputes while working in a collaborative environment that offers mentorship, career advancement, and meaningful client interaction.
• Represent clients in construction litigation matters from pre-litigation through trial and appeal.
• Handle disputes involving public and private construction projects.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, legal memoranda, and other litigation documents.
• Conduct depositions, court appearances, mediations, and settlement negotiations.
• Manage an active caseload while providing excellent client service.
• Collaborate with attorneys and litigation support staff on complex matters.

• Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Active California Bar license in good standing.
• Five or more years of construction litigation experience or closely related civil litigation experience.
• Strong knowledge of construction law, contracts, and dispute resolution.
• Excellent legal writing, analytical, organizational, and advocacy skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-motivated with strong attention to detail.
• Willingness to travel occasionally as needed.
