Our manufacturing client is looking for a general laborer to work on their shop floor. This is a very physical, dusty and high attention to detail position. Located on the se side of Des Moines.
Starting Pay: $20.00 - $22.00/Hour
Hours: 6:00am-4:30pm (Finish) (Monday-Friday, frequent Saturdays)One hour lunch

Construction Laborer
Our manufacturing client is looking for a general laborer to work on their shop floor. This is a very physical, dusty and high attention to detail position. Located on the se side of Des Moines.

Duties:
- Complete tasks related to panel production
- Clean and maintains production bed (concrete).
- Install rebar and strand.Pour and finishes concrete.
- Strip out panels after completion.
- Patch and repair panels as needed.
- Maintain and improve housekeeping to ensure a safe and productive workplace on an hour by hour, day by day basis.
- Complete daily preventive maintenance tasks as assigned, including tool maintenance.
- Responsible for tools and machinery in your area.
- Notify appropriate personnel of issues requiring maintenance work orders to be issued.
- MUST be able to read a tape measure!
- Looking for individuals with previous construction, framing or concrete experience.
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds.
- Steel toed work boot with metatarsal top.
- Ability to step, climb stairs, reach, stoop, push, pull, squat.
- Adhere to all safety rules and guidelines.
- Identify, understand, & report safety hazards, poor behavior and unsafe actions immediately.
