Job Overview
Portzen Construction is seeking full-time Construction Laborers.
Primary Responsibilities:
-
Work on assigned job sites assisting with underground utility installation and concrete work
-
May work on or with a concrete paving crew, a catch basin, curb crew, a site prep crew and/or a pipe crew
-
Assist with clean up of job site
-
Work under the direction of a Foreman or Project Superintendent
-
Able to understand methods of installation and construction
Requirements:
-
Must be at least 18 years old
-
Able to understand basic math
-
Able to lift 50-75 lbs.
-
Able to follow safety guidelines at all times
-
Will work in varied conditions including hot and cold exterior conditions
-
Must wear personal protective equipment provided
This is a full-time position that can be seasonal, some travel may be required within a 150 mile radius of Dubuque.
