Construction Laborer
The Construction Laborer performs residential and commercial demolition work, supports site preparation and cleanup, and assists with the safe handling, loading, and disposal of materials and equipment on construction sites.
Responsibilities
- Perform residential and commercial demolition work safely and efficiently while protecting surrounding structures and property.
- Load and unload materials, equipment, and trailers to support daily project operations.
- Operate hand tools and power tools in a safe and controlled manner according to company guidelines.
- Assist with job site setup, including staging materials, organizing tools, and preparing work areas.
- Support job site cleanup by removing debris, sorting materials, and disposing of building materials in accordance with company procedures.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area throughout the workday.
- Follow company safety procedures, site-specific rules, and job site requirements at all times.
- Assist teammates and supervisors as needed to complete tasks on schedule and to the required quality standards.
Essential Skills
- At least 6 months of construction experience.
- At least 6 months of experience using power tools and hand tools.
- Ability to safely operate general construction hand tools and power tools.
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to drive and operate trailers.
- Ability to regularly lift 75+ pounds.
- Ability to work effectively on active construction sites.
- Strong awareness of safety practices and adherence to safety procedures.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience performing general labor on construction or demolition projects.
- Comfort working in a physically demanding role that involves lifting, carrying, and moving materials.
- Reliability and punctuality for daily job site reporting.
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Work Environment
You will work primarily on active construction sites in both residential and commercial settings. Work may include exposure to dust, debris, and changing weather. Appropriate workwear and personal protective equipment are required to ensure safety on site.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Belgrade, MT.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $29.00 - $33.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
