As we continue to grow, we're looking for an experienced Estimator to join our team and play a key role in pursuing and securing civil construction projects throughout the region. Our work includes site development, excavation, underground utilities, asphalt paving, and related infrastructure projects.
This position offers the opportunity to work alongside experienced operations and preconstruction professionals while helping drive the future growth of our company.
What You'll Do
- Develop detailed and competitive estimates for civil construction projects.
- Review plans, specifications, and project requirements.
- Perform quantity takeoffs and prepare project budgets.
- Solicit and analyze subcontractor and supplier pricing.
- Conduct site visits to evaluate project conditions and risks.
- Collaborate with project managers, superintendents, and company leadership throughout the bidding process.
- Assist with project handoffs after award to ensure successful project execution.
What We're Looking For
- Experience estimating civil construction, site development, excavation, utility, paving, concrete, or heavy highway projects.
- Strong understanding of construction plans, specifications, and cost estimating.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to manage multiple opportunities and deadlines simultaneously.
