Key Responsibilities
- Drywall measurement & cutting - Measure and cut drywall panels to fit project specifications.
- Drywall installation - Hang drywall on walls and ceilings using proper fastening techniques.
- Finishing work - Tape, mud, and sand joints to achieve a smooth, paint-ready surface.
- Texture application - Apply texture finishes consistently across surfaces.
- Drywall repair - Repair damaged drywall and assist with water-damage restoration.
- Blueprint collaboration - Work with team members to interpret blueprints and schematics.
- Carpentry & fixture support - Assist with trim carpentry, door hanging, fixture installation, and related tasks.
- Site safety & organization - Maintain a clean workspace and follow all construction safety protocols.
- Proven experience in drywall finishing within construction or restoration.
- Ability to read and interpret construction blueprints and schematics.
- Familiarity with plastering, caulking, stucco, and metal stud framing.
- Experience in carpentry, including framing and trim work.
- Painter or airless paint spraying experience
- Flooring, tile, masonry, or plumbing knowledge
- Mold remediation or water-damage restoration background
- Previous general labor or maintenance experience
- Comfort working around heavy equipment operators and welding crews
- Full-time, day shift
- Pay up to $30/hr, depending on experience
- Weekly pay
