Position: General Construction Laborer (Demo & Renovation) Locations: NY Staff Provided: Skilled & non-skilled labor
Overview
Our Construction Labor Workers support demolition, renovation, and general construction projects. Associates assist site supervisors, maintain safe work areas, and complete hands-on tasks required to keep projects moving efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Demolition Work — Removing drywall, flooring, fixtures, debris, and preparing spaces for renovation
- Renovation Support — Assisting carpenters, painters, and trades with material handling and site prep
- General Labor — Loading/unloading materials, staging equipment, sweeping, and maintaining clean work zones
- Tool Handling — Operating basic hand tools (hammers, pry bars, drills, saws)
- Safety Compliance — Following OSHA guidelines, wearing PPE, and reporting hazards
Requirements
- Ability to lift 50–75 lbs
- Comfortable working in active construction environments
- Reliable transportation to job sites
- Prior demo/renovation experience preferred but not required
- PPE required (hard hat, gloves, boots, vest)
$20.00 to $25.00 per hour.
