What You'll Do
- Handle construction defect and third-party construction defense litigation from inception through resolution.
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and responses.
- Attend court hearings, depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and other litigation proceedings.
- Communicate directly with clients, providing strategic advice and case updates.
- Collaborate with experienced partners on sophisticated litigation matters while developing your own practice.
- J.D. from an accredited law school.
- Active Florida Bar admission.
- 3-5 years of litigation experience (construction defense experience strongly preferred).
- Strong legal writing, research, and oral advocacy skills.
- Ability to independently manage a litigation caseload while balancing multiple deadlines.
- Organized, proactive, and collaborative professional.
