Construction Billing SpecialistCentury Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Construction Billing Specialist to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $62,000 to $79,000 per year.Job Responsibilities:Manage customer billing activities by preparing invoices and maintaining accurate account records.Monitor outstanding balances and follow up with customers to support timely payment collection.Process contract related documentation and ensure records are maintained in accordance with business requirements.Research and resolve billing discrepancies by collaborating with customers and internal departments.Maintain accounts receivable reporting and support process improvements that enhance accuracy and efficiency.Requirements:3+ years of experience in accounts receivable, billing, or a related financial role.Demonstrate experience working within construction, project based, or contract driven business environments preferred.Possess proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, and Outlook.Maintain the ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines in a fast paced environment.A Bachelor degree or possess equivalent professional experience preferred.Qualifications:Apply strong attention to detail when preparing invoices, maintaining account records, and reviewing financial information.Demonstrate excellent organizational and problem solving skills when addressing customer account issues.Communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders through professional written and verbal communication.Work independently while contributing positively to a collaborative team environment.Bring experience with enterprise accounting systems, document management platforms, or construction billing processes considered beneficial.
