Accounting ManagerThis is a remote position. Our client is a growing specialty construction company seeking a hands-on Accounting Manager to oversee all accounting and financial operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building structure, improving processes, and partnering closely with ownership in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment.What You'll DoOwn day-to-day accounting operations using QuickBooks OnlineManage job and project costing, ensuring accurate tracking of labor, materials, and marginsOversee monthly close, financial statements, and management reportingPrepare and analyze budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projectionsWork with outside CPA for Tax PurposesManage payroll and payroll-related reporting (ADP, Paylocity, or similar systems)Ensure compliance with GAAP and support external accountants as neededImprove and document accounting processes as the company continues to growProvide financial insights to help leadership make informed business decisionsRequirementsBachelor's degree in Accounting or related field5+ years of accounting experience, preferably within construction or project-based environmentsStrong hands-on experience with QuickBooks OnlineProven experience with job/project costingPayroll system experience (ADP, Paylocity, or similar)Ability to work independently and take ownership of the full accounting functionCPA is a plus, but not requiredBenefitsRemote position (must be located in the Dallas–Fort Worth area)High-visibility role working directly with ownershipOpportunity to build and scale accounting processes in a growing businessStable company with long-term upside
