Consignment Director - Timepieces

Responsibilities

• Source quality consignments from private collectors, trade dealers and retailers.
• Supervise the vetting of conditions and authenticate consigned properties.
• Create and proofread catalog descriptions and marketing materials.
• Market specific consignments to valued clients.
• Negotiate client terms.
• Review settlements and wire payments.
• Attend trade shows and conventions to obtain consignments and develop strategic partnerships.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as a watch dealer and/or in a major auction house focused on watches and fine timepieces.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Strong multitasking ability and excellent attention to detail.
• Positive attitude with exceptional customer‑service skills.
• Public speaking talent is a plus.
