To support K-12 students remotely, the part-time Connecticut Licensed Social Worker will provide virtual counseling, crisis intervention, and family communication while managing case documentation and referrals in a fully remote, 1099 contract role. Key responsibilities Provide one-on-one or group virtual counseling sessions to students via video calls Respond to urgent mental health or safety concerns through crisis intervention Communicate with parents/guardians regarding student needs and available resources Required qualifications Active School Social Worker (#071) certification from the Connecticut State Department of Education Active clinical license (LMSW or LCSW) through the Connecticut Department of Public Health (DPH) Professional liability insurance Experience with tele-practice platforms for assessment and therapy delivery in a school setting A reliable, FERPA-compliant home setup with necessary technology and a distraction-free workspace
