Configuration Management (CM) SpecialistAdvantech GS Enterprises is seeking a Configuration Management (CM) Specialist to support a Department of the Navy program in San Diego, CA. This role will provide end-to-end CM support across all phases of the acquisition lifecycle, including systems engineering, development, and sustainment. The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in configuration/data management processes, along with the ability to work collaboratively across cross-functional teams.Key Responsibilities:Provide Configuration Management (CM) support throughout all stages of acquisition, systems engineering, and maintenance processesAssist in the development and implementation of standard operating procedures (SOPs), engineering baselines, and CM processesSupport the administration and management of PMW 790 identified software and systemsOversee and ensure compliance with CM processes across the program lifecycleConduct analysis and resolve configuration and data management issuesPlan, organize, and execute assessments of CM concepts, procedures, and program performancePrepare and present findings, reports, and recommendations to stakeholdersCollaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, program management, and logisticsMaintain accurate documentation and configuration records in accordance with Navy standardsBasic Qualifications:Minimum of 10 years of professional experience, with at least 5 years in Configuration Management or related activitiesExperience overseeing execution of configuration management processes within a program environmentStrong analytical and problem-solving skills related to CM/data management challengesExperience with CMPro (preferred) or similar configuration/data management toolsWorking knowledge of Department of the Navy Configuration Management processesExperience planning, organizing, and presenting CM assessments, analyses, and studiesProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) preferredActive Secret Clearance requiredPreferred Qualifications:Prior experience supporting DoD or Navy acquisition programsFamiliarity with systems engineering lifecycle processesStrong communication skills with the ability to interface with technical and non-technical stakeholders
