We encourage anyone who shares our values to apply today!We are proud to offer our employees:Apprenticeship and Comprehensive Training ProgramsPaid Holidays Upon HireCompetitive Medical, Dental, and Vision InsuranceHSA with Employer ContributionPaid Time OffCompany Paid Short-Term Disability & Life InsuranceEmployee Stock Ownership ProgramHoliday BonusAnd so much more!Estimation Responsibilities Include:Ensure all safety protocols are identified and communicated to the field.Attend site visits to review the progress of the project.Manage the requirements for material, equipment and manpower for assigned projects.Attend project meetings and site reviews.Upon award of contracts, review pricing and assist with selecting compliant vendors and subcontractors for the purpose of issuing purchase orders, review project details and estimates with the field supervisor prior to the start date.Coordinate with in-house and third party EngineersEnsure accurate and complete information regarding the project requirements are communicated to field personnel assigned to the project as required through both verbally and in writing using the job ticket system.Identification and pricing of change orders as the project progresses using appropriate estimating methodsAssist with Billing and invoice preparation and payment assistance when required.May be required to be on-site depending on customer/project requirements.Attend safety, training, sales, strategy and other meetings as required.Requirements:5+ years’ experience estimating small-to-medium commercial or industrial concrete projectsMinimum of 7 years’ experience working in commercial or industrial concreteTravel both locally and out of state approximately 5%-10% of the timeProject coordination experience.Good communication and organizational skills will be essential.Experience with estimating software, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and MS ProjectExperience with AutoCAD preferred but not requiredOSHA 30 or 510 certifications are a plusThe ability to read and understand bid documents, specifications, blueprints, and shop drawingsAbility to work in a fast-paced, team environment.Strong time-management experienceTo be accountable to yourself and your co-workers.This job description reflects management’s assignment of essential functions, and nothing herein restricts management’s right to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time.Equal Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
