What You'll Do
- Batch ready-mix concrete as efficiently and accurately as possible
- Load mixers and coordinate incoming materials
- Order, monitor, and maintain inventory of materials needed at the batch plant
- Receive and verify material deliveries, including signing vendor delivery invoices
- Communicate promptly with Dispatch and the Plant Manager about any issues that could affect production
- Inspect and help maintain belts, equipment, and other plant components
- Complete a weekly report documenting inspections and maintenance activities
- Work as part of a team to keep plant operations running smoothly
What You Bring
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Basic computer skills
- General knowledge of concrete
- Basic knowledge of heavy equipment
- Basic math skills
- Basic understanding of industrial plant operations
