Flex Officers are essential to our operation and are responsible for covering shifts across various residential buildings—both in downtown and uptown Chicago.

This role is ideal for individuals who are new to residential security or concierge work and want to gain experience while building toward a potential permanent assignment, based on performance and availability.Flex Officers are scheduled in advance but must also be available for on-call needs, shift coverage, and priority site assignments. Hours are not guaranteed, but officers who consistently accept shifts and remain flexible can work 40+ hours weekly.Key Responsibilities:Provide professional front desk service at a variety of luxury residential propertiesGreet residents, guests, and visitors in a warm, courteous mannerLearn and follow post orders for multiple sitesMonitor building access, respond to incidents, and report safety or security issuesHandle package logging, visitor management systems, and resident communicationCommunicate effectively with MFort leadership, property management, and onsite teamsAdapt quickly to new environments, policies, and property proceduresMaintain a clean, presentable lobby and workspaceFollow company and site-specific policies and proceduresQualifications:Must be at least 18 years of ageMust have a vehicle and able to travel to Arlington HeightsHigh school diploma or GED requiredValid Illinois PERC card and 20-hour security certificate (or ability to obtain)Open availability for 1st (7am–3pm), 2nd (3pm–11pm), and 3rd (11pm–7am) shiftsWillingness to work weekends, holidays, and on-call assignmentsStrong customer service and communication skillsAble to stand or sit for extended periods and perform lobby or round dutiesPrior concierge, front desk or security experience is preferredMust pass a background check and drug screeningSchedule & Compensation:Status: Flex/On-Call – Schedule assigned weekly but subject to change based on business needsPay Rate: $21.00 per hourLocations: Must be able to travel between various locations across Arlington Heights and EvanstonIf you're looking to grow your security career, gain concierge experience, and be part of a high-performing and supportive team, apply now to join MFort Security Services as a Flex Concierge Officer.
