Reside concierges offer a long list of amenities to residents, bringing a level of convenience, service, and community typically unavailable to renters in Chicago neighborhoods. The Reside Concierge performs as the initial point of contact for management and leasing interaction with residents and prospects.This position is based at a boutique luxury apartment community nestled in Chicago's prestigious Gold Coast neighborhood. This community offers an upscale, amenity-rich environment that reflects the resident's taste and style.Concierge DutiesGreeting and registering guests and prospective residentsAnswering concierge station phonesAccepting packages and coordinating deliveriesTourist and city informationMap, driving, and CTA directionsArranging for pet sitting and walking servicesArranging for other services, i.e., water plantsBooking cabs, limos, and other transportation servicesMonitoring security systems and security camerasArranging for maid serviceKey date reminder servicePlanning of resident eventsLeasing InformationLight leasing duties, i.e., guest card, property informationRefer prospects to appropriate officesProvide walk-in traffic with appropriate rental informationLeasing backup for after-hours and rollover calls for all Reside propertiesProperty ManagementCreating and sending out monthly e-newsletter/resident activities calendarProvide after-hours answering services for Reside property officesRespond to resident emergencies and contact on-call maintenance staffTake and forward or enter service requests from residentsCall residents for follow-up to completed service requestsManage and enter community information into CFR systemsMonitor security systems and security camerasEvents and FunctionsAssist managers in conducting regular social events at various propertiesCreating and coordinating residents' parties and functionsSkills and RequirementsHigh school diploma or GEDOne year of customer-facing experience in hospitality, retail sales, or food servicesProperty management, leasing, community management, or administrative assistant experience welcomeExceptional communication skills – both verbal and writtenStrong organizational skills and ability to multitaskAbility to solve problems through communication and ingenuityImpeccable attention to detail, pride in the quality of work, and energyComfortable working alone but excited to work on a teamProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)Physical RequirementsHave constant need (66% to 100% of the time) to perform the following physical activities:Stand and walk, with little to no sitting, depending on specific needs of the day.
