Responsibilities
- Assist students in the Learning Center with basic technical requests and tutoring in areas such as reading and mathematics.
- Assist in instructional programs, including tutoring; may assist in speech and hearing therapy, provide musical accompaniment, and/or distribute and collect equipment.
- Assist students with logging into computers, using CUNYFirst, printing, Brightspace, scanning, and file retrieval.
- Maintain departmental records such as inventory, rosters, directories, schedules; operate office machines; perform clerical tasks; sort mail; issue keys and identity cards; act as messenger.
- Enter and maintain data in library or departmental systems; perform data entry and run reports.
Minimum Qualifications
- Must demonstrate sufficient skills to perform the duties of the assigned tasks.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with print options for PowerPoint, PDF, and basic page layout options.
- Familiarity with Brightspace and ERP systems such as CUNYfirst.
- Familiarity with Google Drive and navigating browsers (Firefox, Chrome).
- Good interpersonal skills and patience.
Compensation
$19.12 per hour
