This position will require the candidate to have some knowledge of computer components.Role and ResponsibilitiesOperates machines to test functioning of parts or whole unitsRuns software programs on repaired machines to test unit functionalityTests repaired systems to ensure that they are in working orderCompletes VMI of units before testingReturns units to technician for repair if unit fails VMI/testResponsible for meeting ISO 9001 and/or other quality system requirements in their departmentMay forward units on to quality group for QA inspection, if unit passes testMay test components or circuits of faulty equipment to locate defects, using special diagnostic software programsMay install and configure repaired equipment, including operating software or peripheral equipmentMay perform other duties as assignedEducation, Training and SkillsHigh school diploma or equivalent preferred1 year of experience with test and software installation and configuration, preferredBasic knowledge of computer softwareBasic familiarity with computer use requiredFamiliarity with continuous improvement methods preferredMust be able to work in a fast-paced team environment with close supervisionIntermediate English abilities requiredAbility to follow documented procedures, standards and policiesExcellent time-management skillsWorking Conditions and Essential Abilities & FunctionsWarehouse environment (may not be climate-controlled)Lift/carry up to 20 lbs.Push/pull up to 10 lbs.Stand/walk for 8 hoursFrequent bending, stooping, twisting, and crouchingUse of small hand toolsCSAT Solutions LP is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of race, national origin, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, protected veteran status, disability, age or other legally protected status #hireCSAT
