Computer Scientist OpportunityZantech is looking for a talented Computer Scientist to provide Information Technology support and coordination, as well as Enterprise system administration for an upcoming role situated onsite at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD. This role will provide Information Technology subject matter expertise performing analyses of system requirements and developing operational software subsystems with focus on real-time operating systems and distributed systems.Responsibilities include, but will not be limited to:Perform analyses of system requirements and develop operational software subsystemsSupport MS Office 2013 Suite, Windows 7+, Project Pro, Visio, Access, PowerPoint, Adobe Creative CloudSupport network and non-network multi-function printers, computer docking stations, monitors, routers, switchesSupport analog and digital multi-line telephones and CISCO virtual communication equipmentProvide IT service level management, lifecycle planning, new equipment fieldingRequired Experience or Knowledge of the following technologies/functions:5 years in supporting hardware, software, end user, and network management and trouble shootingProficiency in MS Office 2013 Suite, Windows 7+, Adobe Creative Cloud, CISCO VPN client, McAfee security suite, JAVASpecific Experience Required:Real-time operating systemsDistributed systemsTiming and sizing analysisPerformance analysisDatabase design and managementResource utilization assessmentProven competence in the following:Requirements analysisDatabase designReal-time operating systemsDistributed systemsPerformance analysisRequired Certifications/Education:Security+ CertificationMicrosoft 365 Certified Associate-level certifications such as:Modern Desktop AdministratorMessaging AdministratorTeamwork AdministratorSecurity AdministratorTeams AdministratorDeveloper AssociateEnterprise Administrator ExpertEducation Required: Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or related technical fieldEducation Preferred: Master's degreeRequired Security Clearance: US Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain an active DoD Secret or higher clearance, per contract requirements.Outstanding Performance…Always!
