Computer Repair TechnicianShift Hours: M-F 8am-4:30pmHourly Rate: $20.00 + BonusPosition SummaryAre you passionate about technology, troubleshooting, and hands-on device repair? We are seeking an experienced Computer Repair Technician to diagnose, repair, test, and optimize a variety of electronic devices, including laptops, desktops, PCs, tablets, mobile devices, and related hardware.Key ResponsibilitiesDiagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and test electronic assemblies, sub-assemblies, and end-user devices.Perform hardware repairs and replacements, including screens, batteries, memory, storage drives, keyboards, and other components.Execute system upgrades, software installations, firmware updates, and device optimization activities.Utilize diagnostic tools, testing equipment, engineering specifications, schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation to identify and resolve issues.Conduct functional testing, calibration, and quality inspections to ensure products meet performance and reliability standards.Document repair activities, testing procedures, and results accurately within designated systems.Analyze test data and provide recommendations for corrective actions when needed.Adhere to established quality, safety, and operational procedures.Collaborate with engineering, operations, and technical support teams to resolve complex repair issues.Maintain productivity and quality standards in a fast-paced repair and refurbishment environment.What Success Looks LikeConsistently delivers high-quality repairs with minimal rework.Accurately diagnoses hardware and software issues across multiple device platforms.Meets productivity, turnaround time, and quality metrics.Demonstrates strong attention to detail and commitment to customer satisfaction.Contributes to continuous process improvement and operational efficiency.What We're Looking ForStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.Experience repairing consumer electronics, laptops, desktops, tablets, or mobile devices.Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, schematics, and engineering specifications.Familiarity with diagnostic tools, testing equipment, and repair methodologies.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Required QualificationsHigh School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required.Associate degree, technical certification, or related coursework preferred.Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in electronics repair, technical support, device refurbishment, manufacturing, or a related technical field.Experience performing hardware repairs, component replacements, and device testing.Working knowledge of PCs, laptops, tablets, mobile devices, and related technologies.Preferred QualificationsExperience in production, repair depot, refurbishment, or electronics manufacturing environment.Industry certifications such as CompTIA A+, electronics repair certifications, or equivalent technical credentials.Experience with quality control processes and documentation systems.Familiarity with inventory management and repair tracking systems.Why Join Us?Join a team where technology, innovation, and continuous learning drive success.
