Position Overview
Our team is currently looking for a CNC Programmer/Machinist for a client in the Motorsports Industry, Honda Racing Corp.
- Responsible for CNC programming using MasterCam and creating multiaxis tool paths using computer software to control machine tools for manufacturing high-performance racing engine components.
- Fixture and Tooling Design and CNC Setup and Operation.
Requirements
- 2-Year Technical Degree in CNC Programming with 5 years of relevant experience or Minimum 10 years of experience programming in a multi-axis CNC milling environment.
- 7+ years in CAD-CAM programming for CNC, including tooling, fixtures, and manufacturing processes.
- Strong background in close-tolerance machining and machine setup procedures.
- Experience with MasterCam (multi-axis programming), CATIA V5 AMG software, and Fanuc controllers (preferred). Proven ability to generate technical and summary reports, prepare presentations, and manage projects under tight deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word). Skilled in organizing and managing multiple assignments concurrently.

- Ability to design and develop associated tooling and fixtures based on engineering drawings and 3D models.

- Strong verbal and written communication; ability to interface effectively across departments and personality types.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
Working Condition
- Santa Clarita, California; on-site
- Relocation offered.
- One-year contract w/possible extension/direct hire
