CNC Programmer/Machinist – Mastercam | 1st Shift
Location: Longmont, CO
Pay: $35–$43/hr DOE

We are hiring an experienced CNC Programmer/Machinist for a rapidly growing precision machining operation in Longmont.
This is a great opportunity for a strong Mastercam mill programmer who can take a job from print to finished part. We are open to candidates coming from 3-axis, 4-axis, or 5-axis programming backgrounds.
The shop supports high-precision aerospace, space, and defense manufacturing and continues to invest heavily in new CNC equipment and technology.
What You'll Do
- Program CNC mills using Mastercam
- Take jobs from print to finished part
- Read and interpret blueprints and GD&T
- Perform basic machine setups
- Complete tool changes and offsets
- Load tooling, inserts, and raw material
- Make adjustments to feeds and speeds
- Troubleshoot programs and machining issues
- Produce tight-tolerance precision components
What We're Looking For
Required:
- CNC mill programming experience
- Hands-on Mastercam experience
- Ability to program parts from print to part
- CNC setup experience
- Strong blueprint reading skills
- Working knowledge of GD&T
Highly Preferred:
- 4-axis or 5-axis programming/setup experience
- Haas machines/controls
- DMG Mori / DMU experience
- Siemens controls
- Matsuura machining centers
- Aerospace or defense machining
- Tight-tolerance machining
- Recent versions of Mastercam
- ProShop ERP experience
Compensation
3-Axis: Up to $38/hr
5-Axis: Up to $43/hr
