Location: Phoenix, AZ

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00+ per hour DOE

Schedule: Full-Time | Overtime Required

Available Shifts

1st Shift

• Monday-Friday
• 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM

2nd Shift

• Monday-Friday
• 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM

CNC Lathe Machinist Opportunity

We are seeking experienced CNC Lathe Machinists to join a growing manufacturing team in Phoenix. This position offers competitive pay based on experience and is ideal for machinists who have a strong technical background, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to maintain tight tolerances in a production environment.

Candidates with advanced mechanical aptitude, machine setup experience, troubleshooting skills, and a strong understanding of machining principles will be considered for the higher end of the pay range.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC Lathe machines
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions
• Make tool offsets and machine adjustments as needed
• Utilize and understand G Codes and M Codes
• Perform in-process and final quality inspections
• Measure parts using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments
• Maintain tight tolerances and quality standards
• Troubleshoot machining and equipment issues
• Complete production and quality documentation
• Follow all safety and manufacturing procedures

Qualifications

• Previous CNC Lathe machining experience required
• Strong knowledge of G Codes and M Codes
• Experience reading blueprints and technical drawings
• Proficient with calipers, micrometers, and precision measurement tools
• Strong math and problem-solving skills
• Mechanical aptitude and technical troubleshooting experience preferred
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Ability to work required overtime

Pre-Employment Testing

Candidates must successfully complete:

• Extensive machining math assessment
• Precision measurement test
• Demonstration of proficiency using calipers and micrometers
