Responsibilities
- Design and implement network architectures that meet the organization's needs
- Create detailed network diagrams and documentation
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for network infrastructure
- Conduct network assessments to identify areas for improvement and optimization
- Evaluate and select appropriate technologies, protocols, and standards
- Implement and configure network devices such as routers, switches, and firewalls
- Design and implement network security measures to protect against unauthorized access and cyber threats
- Monitor network traffic for suspicious activity and respond to security incidents using security solutions
- Monitor network performance and identify bottlenecks or issues
- Keep detailed documentation of network configurations, changes, and maintenance activities
Requirements
- Associate of Arts (AA) degree or 2 year technical school
- 10 Years of relevant experience
- 15 years of relevant experience may be substituted for education
- Active TS/SCI clearance
